I wanted to get an Iphone but I just can't afford to buy a brandnew one.  My friend from the office showed me his new Iphone 2nd gen and it looked like it was brandnew, very smooth with screen protector and no scratches.  My friend told me that he bought it for almost half the original price since it was a 2nd hand phone.  I asked him where he bought it and he said it was from another friend.  I was wondering if there are any shops that sells 2nd hand iphone in good or pristine condition? Is better to look online? How would I know if the seller online is not just a scammer? What places should I go to and which ones should I avoid?  If it is already 2nd hand, is it still going to be with at&t or is there an iphone available for other providers as well?  Im still within the 2-year holding period.
