A friend mentioned the Federal Pell Grant to me when I told him I was looking for options to pay for college tuition.  He didn't seem to know much about it and just told me to ask around.

Where can I get information regarding this grant? Is there a specific office that I need to go to for application? And do I need to be accepted in a college already before I apply for this grant?  Do I need to get into a specific university/college or do they cater to where I get accepted to?
