I know that being a teenager is a time to start expressing yourself vocally and even through your body.  But most of the teens I see play around a lot with their hair.  Guys wear them long and i see girls who wear theirs short.  Some of them are even dyed odd colors which can be very distracting to a parent.  I want to ask my child to remove the dye on his hair but at the same time, I don't want him to think that I'm depriving him a chance to express himself.  What are the appropriate hairstyles for teens nowadays?
