My wife and I have been visiting this facility fior the past five years. We are in outr 70s. There is plenty to do at the camp ground as well nearby ~ the Everglades, etc. The grounds are spotless as are the restroom/showers. The pool is wonderful with plenty of room to swim or just bob and chat. And the hot tub ~ aah. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. Please join the group at the pavilion at 8:00 a.m. for coffee and conversation. We will be returning in March 2012. We drive down from Massachusetts and enjoy a couple of weeks in the sun.

I've been to Miami 3 times already and I've had a great time every single time. I plan to go to this campground next time as I've been hearing a lot of great things on it. Normally I'm not into camping, but I'm into trying new things and if this is something that's enjoyable I'm all for it. ;)

I live in Florida and you know what's odd? I've never actually been to these campgrounds. I've camped all around Florida and I've yet to go here. Well I'm going to ask my friends to go here next time for our annual camping trip.

The Miami Everglades is usually one place I'd regret camping near because of risk of Alligators and Crocodiles. I'm extremely paranoid so I'd freak out about that. But I figured this wouldn't be near any major swampy areas so I think it'd be fine enough to stay in.

The whole business of crocs and aligators isn't a problem as this isn't right in the heart of the Everglades. That'd be dangerous. But I would love to go to this campground one day, when that day is, is unknown to me on when I will go. But yeah seems like a real promising place.

We have been going to Miami Everglades Campground for Christmas the past few years and we love it. It has a lot to do, it's SUPER clean, it has lots of room and open space all around. It's one of our favorite places to go.
