Another natural derivative, Hydrocytric Acid or HCA for short, increases weight loss with combined with other similar functioning weight loss ingredients, like those found in the popular Thermadrol diet pill. Although, it’s not the type of nutrient that garners a popular following, hydrocytric acid (HCA) inspires losing weight. In preliminary medical studies, hydrocitric acid (HCA) has been found as an integral part of weight loss. HCA is a compound found in a type of fruit, called Garcinia cambogia. The east Asian fruit's chemical structure is verisimilar to citric acid (the primary acid in citrus fruits) and it's method of action has been compared to that of ephedra, a once popular weight loss ingredient, but without the negative side effects.
HCA's effectiveness has been demonstrated in the laboratories and animal research has shown that HCA has the ability to suppress the appetite and induce weight loss. One overwhelming trial showed how eating a gram of fruit with HCA prior to each meal could result in the loss of 1 pound each day. When the compound of green tea extract, hydrocytric acid, Vitamin B6 and yerba mate are combined in weight loss products like Thermadrol, weight loss is inevitable.
In another double-blind trial study of 135 men and women that were administered either a placebo or 1,500 mg of HCA while both groups were on a restricted caloric intake, the study showed how HCA forces the two way action for weight loss. First it causes premature satiation of the appetite and as it curbs cravings, it improves the body’s ability to burn glycogen stores. In Thermadrol, hydrocitric acid may work with the other minerals and vitamins to drastically enhance weight loss.
According to certain medical professionals, Hydrocitric acid impedes the body’s ability to store fat. As a result, it may cause more fat to pass through the body without being stored. During intensive exercise, it has also been noted that HCA has the ability to utilize existing body fat for energy. Another finding on hydrocitric acid is how it seems to diminish the appetite by elevating the volume of serotonin in the body. (Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that is thought to affect appetite control).
